My New Chapter in Minnesota

I started my TV career back in 1998 in Tampa, Florida. I was a LOT younger then and I had a lot of fun and made a lot of friends that I will always cherish. But, as we all know, there comes a time in life to move on, and this was definitely it. As of September, 2017, I started the second chapter of my career on Evine Live, located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Of course, I’ve visited the facilities and met with the entire team of professionals a few times before the official launch. I want to take you with me on my adventure to my new TV home because it’s quite special.

Downtown Minneapolis… Beautiful, isn’t it?

I have been married to a Minnesotan for over 30 years, I’ve never experienced “Minnesota Nice” first hand at the corporate level. Every time I enter the corporate offices of Evine, they welcome you with great smiles, hugs, candy, donuts, and other baked goods (often home made). Whatever stresses you might have had (flight delays, lost samples, etc.), the entire team is there to help you feel better. In all of my experience with corporations, this sort of hospitable corporate culture is very unique. I am absolutely loving it! My husbands family are the most kind-hearted people I have ever met. I thought they were an anomaly. I am probably the newest designer at Evine, but I truly do feel right at home. They have made me feel so welcome and for that I am very thankful.

I’ve heard stories about how cold it can get and how much snow to expect. For a California girl like me, that almost sounded scary. I must say, the winter days in Minnesota are very cold, indeed. But when I’m inside, I find the glistening snow quite stunning, pleasing and almost inspiring. Oh, I almost forgot to mention my favorite time of the year. In the fall, the leaves change color to deep rusts, olive greens, rich gold, browns, …  Driving around the famous Lake Minnetonka … simply stunning.  No words to describe its natural beauty.

May be the most beautiful place on Earth in the Fall.

So far, my switch to Evine has been nothing but inspiring. I am falling more and more in love with Minnesota each time I come for a visit! I was a little nervous switching networks after all these years, but it has been one amazing adventure.

  • I have been watching you for years. I have many awesome pieces. You’re an amazing designer. Very classy. Evine in my opinion is the best place for you…they are the up scale shopping network where your designs belong. Very best of luck.

    • Hi Laura,
Thank you so much for the kind words! It means the world to me that you have been following my career. I am very happy at Evine, it definitely seems to be a good fit. I have more freedom to work with more rare gemstones, and am currently working on bringing back some items in 14k gold!

  • I have loved your jewelry for so many years. I have worn your icicle ring as a wedding band for nearly 10 years now! Unfortunately after every day wearing for 10 years the vermeil is finally wearing off. Any chance I could replace it?

    • Hello Judith,

Thanks so much for your support and for following me for so many years! I love that ring, it is one of my favorites. I am in the process of bringing back tons of my old styles, so I will keep you posted if or when this one does return. Thanks again for commenting and for following my career over the years, it really does mean so much to me!

  • I have always loved your designs at HSN, but I always felt you were somewhat constrained there. I always wished you’d go to Evine, and now that you have, I am so thrilled! You are such a talented designer, and we are all lucky to have you on the best jewelry channel on air! Wishing you the best of continued success.

    • Thank you so much, Lee! I am very happy at Evine… I am so glad you followed me over! I am working on bringing tons of fresh, new designs that I hope you’ll like. Thanks so much for the kind words.
